FHSF114 is a four-piece garden group: one wider sofa at 136 cm, two single-seaters at 78 cm and a 100 cm slatted coffee table. The frame is powder-coated aluminum, and every seating piece carries the same two details - a solid wood cap along the top of each arm, and a side panel closed with vertical bars instead of a solid plate.

Cushions are 11 cm thick in 200-230 g staple fibre outdoor fabric over a 24D sponge core, with a 10 cm back cushion filled with 500 g flat cotton. They are loose, so a stained cover can be swapped or a tired pad replaced on its own rather than reordering the set.

Dimensions

All three elevations are drawn to the same 1:16 scale, so the sofa can be compared against a single-seater and the coffee table before a layout is signed off.

Cushions and comfort

The seat is built in two layers: an 11 cm pad over a 24D sponge core, with a separate 10 cm back cushion filled with 500 g flat cotton. Splitting the two means the back can be plumped independently of the seat.

Why the two cushions are built separately

• The 24D sponge seat pad holds height under daily use instead of flattening after a season
• The 500 g flat cotton back gives a softer, more compressible feel than the seat
• Both are loose, so either can be turned, aired or replaced on its own
• 200-230 g staple fibre covers drain and dry, which suits a garden setting

Why the arm and the side panel matter

Most low-cost garden sofas close the side with a flat aluminium plate. Here the side is left open with vertical bars and the arm is finished with a real wood cap, which is the detail a client notices first at close range - and it is also the part that is cheapest to repair if it is ever damaged in service.
