An outdoor armchair on a matt white powder-coated aluminium frame, with a solid slotted back panel, horizontal armrests finished with pale beige tops, a bare aluminium slat seat and a removable woven-textured cushion.
The back is one solid panel with a single horizontal slot rather than an open weave, so the chair reads as a clean shape on a busy terrace and wipes down in one pass. The seat is aluminium slats, and the cushion over it lifts straight off, which is the practical part: the pad can be taken in overnight, laundered or replaced without touching the frame. Because the whole frame is aluminium, it does not rust, and at around four kilos a chair one person can re-arrange a whole terrace.

Why Foris Hortus
We build outdoor furniture in our own workshop in Zhejiang and export it directly, which is why a project can change the frame colour and the pad fabric without changing the supplier.

The slotted back, the arms and the cushion

A solid slotted back panel
One solid panel with a single horizontal slot through it, so the back does not trap water and can be wiped down in one pass rather than brushed out of a weave.
Beige-topped armrests
The armrests run horizontally, with a smooth pale beige top bar exactly where the hand lands, so the arm stays comfortable without a separate pad.
A bare aluminium slat seat
The seat is aluminium slats across the frame with narrow gaps between them, so it drains and never needs webbing or cord re-strung.
A removable cushion
The woven-textured pad lifts straight off the slats, so it can be taken in overnight or replaced without touching the frame.

Aluminium slats are set across the seat frame with even gaps, so the seat drains and stays light.
Pad and finishing
The removable seat pad is cut and sewn in a woven-textured fabric, and the finished frame is inspected and packed in the workshop it is built in.
