An outdoor armchair on a matt white round-tube aluminium frame, with a tall see-through back panel woven from thin vertical rope strands, armrests that rake down from the back, solid teak boards where a hand lands, and a thick grey loose seat cushion.
The back is one tall curtain of rope rather than a solid panel, so the chair keeps its presence on a terrace while you still see the planting through it. The armrests slope down from the top of the back posts to the front legs, which is why the chair is comfortable to sit back into and easy to rise from, and it is the reason the silhouette reads as an arch rather than a box. The solid teak board sits along the upper part of each sloping arm, exactly where the hand rests.
