JINHAN FAIR 2026 Recap: Six Days of Shade at Booth 1W08

We packed up on October 26 after six days at the Poly World Trade Center Expo in Guangzhou. JINHAN FAIR 2026 gave us hundreds of conversations and one clear signal: buyers in 2026 want shade that survives a second season by the sea, and a partner who can spec the whole outdoor space - not just sell a pole.

What drew crowds at Booth 1W08

Our stand brought the full Foris Hortus outdoor story together: large cantilever umbrellas in beige and grey, a double-top market parasol, a hanging lounge chair suspended beneath a square aluminium cantilever, deep-seating sofa sets, dining sets with benches, and thatched tiki umbrellas for a resort feel. Everything was set up the way it would look in a hotel garden, on a restaurant terrace or in a private backyard, so buyers could judge proportions, fabrics and finishes at real scale.

Who came to talk

The busiest conversations were with the four buyer types we built the company around: brands and retailers looking to private-label a shade line; e-commerce sellers who need reliable, flat-pack-friendly SKUs; project distributors and constructors specifying shade for resorts, hotels and waterfront restaurants; and design companies matching parasols to a specific architectural palette.

The questions buyers kept asking

Three questions came up at almost every booth. First, the real wind rating - not the brochure number - and what the warranty actually covers. Second, whether we can match a brand colour and logo, which we can across canopy, frame finish and printed parasols. Third, and most often: what is the lead time if they order for spring? That question deserves its own answer, and we have written it up separately on the blog.

What we take from the floor

A trade fair is a shortcut to trust. You can read a spec sheet anywhere, but you cannot feel the marine-grade powder-coated finish, test the tilt, or watch a frame survive a shake test through a screen. If you missed us in Guangzhou, the next best thing is a direct conversation about your site - send us the space and we will spec it. Our team replies with a layout and a quotation, usually within one working day.
