What is your minimum order quantity?

Our minimum order quantity is normally one 40HQ container, and on several lines the figure works out exactly to that:

• FHCH057 adjustable back armchair: 360 chairs, which is one 40HQ
• FHTB068 extendable table: 1 x 40HQ, which is 160 tables
• FHSF001 corner sofa set: 56 sets, which is one 40HQ
• FHSF233 6-piece corner set: 52 sets, which is two 40HQ loadings at 26 sets each

A few items start lower than a full container. FHSF235 is 10 sets and FHCH073-A1 is 350 pcs. Customised umbrellas are a separate case with their own minimum, which we cover in the customisation question.

The reason the minimum usually tracks the container is packing economics rather than policy: at one container the loading plan, the carton schedule and the freight cost all line up, and the per-set landed cost is at its lowest. Below a full container we quote mixed loading instead, which is the subject of the next question.
